THE CHALLENGE

4000kg/day medical waste incineration project in accordance with EUWID (Waste incineration directive 200/76/EU) Bydgoszcz, Poland.

THE MATTHEWS SOLUTION

The purpose of the plant was a combined waste disposal/energy recovery. Installed at a hospital the plant was designed to process approximately 175kg/hof general medical waste and recover energy in the form of saturated steam which was exported back to the hospital services.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND FUTURE

The system was handed over to the client on schedule and to specification. The client has experienced many successful years of operation and has returned to Matthews Environmental Solutions with further equipment requirements.
